Spencer Tunick
Born in New York in 1967. Tunick received his BA from Emerson College in Boston, MA. Tunick is widely celebrated for his elaborately posed photographs of multiple nude figures in public settings. His temporary site-specific installations have taken place across the globe in cities including Montreal, Melbourne, Santiago, Barcelona and most recently in Mexico City and Miami. Tunick gathers hundreds of volunteers to take part in his installations, which in the past have attracted anything from 500 to 18,000 participants. Tunick lives and works in New York.
