Ena Marrero
Ena Marrero is a Cuban born contemporary artist living in Miami since 1995. She studied, worked, and lived in New York City for seventeen years, where she experienced art and cultural diversity. The abundance of art in New York influenced her determination to move forward in uniting technique and concept in her own work.  Marrero works with various mediums to create paintings, works on paper, sculptures and the installations for which she is well known. “In my installations I transform everyday objects into objects with new identities.” Marrero's work gathers a range of impressions and feelings that are connected to concepts in modern society and our natural environment.
