Leila A. Kremer
Born in Bariloche, Argentina. Kremer now lives and works in Miami, USA . Leila A. Kremer studied at the University of Design, Architecture and Urbanism in Buenos Aires. Her documentary photography, confronts geography and economy. Photographs of architectural phenomenon, from dilapidated structures to design conscious buildings, examine realities and fantasies of inhabitation. Her series titled I Wish I Could Live Here questions the way that urban and rural sites function. Her work has been exhibited at the Miami Art Museum, Miami; The Boca Raton Museum of Art, Boca Raton; Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami; Naples Art Center, Naples; and other art spaces. In 2007 she was the recipient of the South Florida Consortium Fellowship for visual and Media Artist.
