Jeff Gabel
Jeff Gabel was born in 1968 and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He received his BFA from Kansas State University in 1992 and his MFA from Pratt Institute in 1995. Jeff Gabel makes small-scale pencil drawings that feature both real and imaginary people, and often revolve around routine day-to-day embarrassments, best-forgotten college experiences, or the artist’s unhealthy obsession with the rock band Kiss. He is currently represented by the Spencer Brownstone Gallery, N He is currently represented by the Spencer Brownstone Gallery, New York.
