Don Christensen
Don Christensen moved to New York City in 1970 after attending Kansas City Art Institute. In 1990 he began working on several small abstract paintings on selected pieces of wood. In 1992 he received a NEA Fellowship, and had his first solo exhibition in New York. Christensen was awarded a NYFA Fellowship for painting in 1996 and has had numerous group exhibitions and other solo shows in the ensuing years.
