John Chamberlain
John Chamberlain was born in 1927 in Rochester, Indiana.  He attended the Art Institute of Chicago from 1951-1952 and Black Mountain College from 1955-1956.  He is best known for his sculptures created from old automobiles parts.  His works have been exhibited around the world and have been included in the Venice Biennale, the Whitney Biennial, and Documenta, Kassel, Germany.  Chamberlain has had over 100 solo shows, traveling exhibitions, and retrospectives.
