Chul-Hyun Ahn
Chul-Hyun Ahn was born in Busan, South Korea, in 1971. He received a BA from Chu-Gye University for the Arts in Seoul, Korea and then an MFA from Maryland Institute, College of Art, Baltimore in 2002. In his work he manipulates fluorescent lights and mirrors inside hand-built wooden boxes, to create fascinating optical structures. Ahn has shown at Shore Institute of Contemporary Arts and is represented by C. Grimaldis Gallery.
